Description
Throughout high school, in mathematics, numbers have been at the core of everything. In grade 8 the number system was introduced which differentiated the different types of numbers from Integers, Whole Numbers, Real Numbers, Rational and Irrational Numbers. However, a new type of mathematical form was also introduced in which a variable often denoted x is given in the form of an expression. This is known as an Algebraic Expression. Algebra is very important because it allows us to represent often-complex mathematical problems using expressions and this allows us to be able to solve them.
- Quadratic Equation
- Completing the Square
- Solving by Factorization
- Inequalities
- Exponential Equations
- Simultaneous Equations
The above subsections are examined at matric level. We will look in-depth at each section highlighting important concepts and exam techniques in answering questions related to them.
